Move To Help Foundation began in 2019 as a small group of US-based neighbors helping each other through funerals, lost jobs, and emergency expenses. Today we operate through verified local partners across five active humanitarian regions.
A small group of neighbors started pooling money to cover expenses for families in their community who had nowhere else to turn. Someone's father passed away, and the family couldn't afford burial costs. Someone lost a job, and rent was due. Someone's kids needed food.
The group called what they were doing "Move To Help" — because that's what it felt like. Watching a family struggling, and moving to help.
Then crises started arriving from further out. Earthquakes in South Asia. Storms displacing families. Civil wars uprooting entire communities. Famine declarations in regions the news barely covered.
The same group started sending aid further out. First to Pakistan, then Syria, Afghanistan, Gaza, and Sudan as needs emerged. The model didn't change — small group, direct partnerships, every dollar of public donations going to the families.
